In immersive attractions, 4D describes an experience that goes beyond simply watching a three-dimensional scene by incorporating additional sensory or interactive elements.
Hey Pumpkin combines real-time 3D environments with customizable audio, visual effects, interactive objects, and characters that respond to your guests. These elements can be integrated with yard displays, haunted attractions, parties, storefronts, and other physical settings—helping the digital world feel like part of the environment around you.

What language does Hey Pumpkin support?↓
English is officially supported. While the pumpkins may potentially speak in other languages, their hollowed out gords may not always respond in another preferred language. Try it out!
What kind of microphone should I use?↓
Depending on your environment, you may want to use different types of microphones. Ideally, your microphone should be positioned so it only picks up the people interacting with Hey Pumpkin.
A cardioid or supercardioid polar pattern is most suitable. In testing, we use USB supercardioid microphones for best results.
What computers/operating systems are supported?↓
Windows 11 and macOS (using the Chrome web browser).
Do I have to use a powerful $10,000 computer to run Hey Pumpkin?↓
Absolutely not!
Hey Pumpkin is tested on both high-end and lower-end systems — from mini PCs to large custom tower computers.
How do I get the best, most desirable performance out of Hey Pumpkin?↓
Most standard monitors and video cards support a 60Hz refresh rate. However, higher refresh rates (such as 120Hz or 240Hz) will result in smoother animation.
This is standard across gaming and creative applications.
How do I get the best color out of Hey Pumpkin?↓
Hey Pumpkin is built to deliver vibrant and punchy colors. However, your results can vary depending on your display settings.
We recommend adjusting your projector or monitor’s brightness and contrast to achieve deep blacks while keeping character colors bright and clear. Laser projectors often perform better in both bright and dark environments.
Does Hey Pumpkin support 4k/8k displays?↓
Hey Pumpkin is resolution independent. Therefore, you can use any resolution device and make Hey Pumpkin characters and items any size you require.
The quality of the video card in the PC, and the output device will determine how the final image is represented.
I asked a question and the pumpkin didn't hear me.↓
Pumpkins don’t actually have ears! If you're not getting a response, it’s likely because you’re speaking while the character(s) is speaking.
You must talk to the pumpkins like you would in any normal two-sided conversation — without interrupting. The pumpkins will only listen when they are not speaking.
If your microphone is picking up too much background noise (from the app or your environment), try moving it or adjusting its sensitivity.
How many logins and displays can I use?↓
Currently, customers are permitted up to two logins at their display site.
This is to help accomodate stage building and saving on secondary systems, as well as help create thematic elements that are spread out in a larger environment that may require more than one setup.
Need more than 2 devices? We can increase your limit on request. This is especially useful for larger installations, permanent venue setups, complex multi-location displays, or special use cases. Just reach out and let us know your situation — we're happy to accommodate reasonable requests.
For unique or high-volume needs, additional device slots may be available for purchase. Contact us and we'll work with you to find the right solution.
Can I share my login with my friend/family?↓
Login sharing is strictly prohibited. Sharing your login can lead to account lockout or permanent revocation.
Customers are only authorized to utilize Hey Pumpkin at their primary display site/location.
Instead, share the website with your friends and family — we’d love to have them join the patch!
Can I run multiple instances of Hey Pumpkin on the same computer?↓
No. Running multiple windows/sessions of Hey Pumpkin, including the frontend, is not supported and can cause undesirable behavior.
Please limit your sessions to one open browser window at-a-time, and when running the app, make sure your customer portal/frontend is closed.
How do I earn Boo Bucks?↓
You automatically earn 1 Boo Buck for every $10 spent. The more you purchase, the more Boo Bucks you accumulate.
How can I use my Boo Bucks?↓
You can redeem Boo Bucks for discounts on future license purchases and in-app items.
More redemption options (cosmetics, stories, homestead items, etc.) will be added over time.
Do Boo Bucks expire?↓
Boo Bucks expire 12 months from the day they are earned.
What happens to my Boo Bucks if I cancel my license?↓
Boo Bucks will be deducted from your account based on the price of the cancelled license.
